SCORPION Electric Axes (Custom Solutions) -MADE IN CANADA!

Linear Axes

Scorpion linear axes have been designed for a simple assembly of multiple units to create high performance and versatile cartesian robots. These linear axes can also be used individually for simpler applications.

  • Maximum linear movement : 5000 mm
  • Maximum linear speed : 15 000 mm/sec
  • Thrust capacity up to 685 kgf (6.7 kN)
  • Repeatability of +/- 0.05 mm

A thoughtful design for a simple, yet robust product :

  • Modular anodized aluminum body with thick walls for superior rigidity
  • Steel reinforced polyurethane belt providing high thrust capacity and high levels of performance
  • Unique design allowing for belt adjustment while in movement (no disassembly)
  • End of stroke high density rubber guards
  • Precision linear guides and bearings
  • Horizontal or vertical operation
  • Simple and sturdy assembly system to create cartesian robots
  • Available strokes up to 5000mm

High Linear Speed

  • SCORPION linear axes can achieve high linear speed of up to 15 000 mm/s..

Long Linear Movements

  • Linear movements of up to 5000 mm can be achieved.

High Thrust

  • SCORPION linear axes can provide a high thrust capacity. Depending on the selected model and its configuration, thrust capacity can be as high as 685 kgf (6.7 kN).

High Precision

  • A repeatability in the range of +/- 0.05mm can be attained.

Total Control

  • Speed, acceleration, deceleration, thrust as well as movement positioning can be modified at any time with programming. Depending on the motorization chosen, infinite and quick movement parameters modification is now possible.

Reliability

  • Ingenious design, robust construction and high quality assembly for reliable and durable products.

Low Maintenance

  • SCORPION linear axes maintenance is truly minimal, requiring only a periodical belt tensioning or lubrification of the internal components.

Connectivity & 4.0

  • The use of servomotors on linear axes allow for a full connectivity to other equipment of a defined environment, providing valuable real-time data sharing and acquisition for optimal management and planning (speed, overload, components wear, proactive maintenance, etc.).

Low Noise

  • SCORPION linear axes’ operation generate a low noise level, significantly lower than pneumatic linear axes.

Protection Strip (Optional)

  • A metal protection strip can be installed over the top to cover the interior components and prevent the intrusion of external particles.

Motorization

  • A wide range of motorization can be accommodated. A motor adaptor is supplied for the motorization chosen by the client.

Simple

  • Thanks to a thoughtful design, the installation and set up of SCORPION linear axes is simple and easy.

Made in Canada

  • Every SCORPION product is designed and fabricated with pride at the Saint-Hyacinthe factory by a team of passionate people!
